Rangefinder 30 Rising Stars 2017 Nomination

Rangefinder Magazine announces every year 30 Rising Stars in Wedding Photography. In The World. It’s a huge privilege and honour to be invited to submit your work and I almost fell off my chair when I received this invitation.

Although I didn’t actually win, I’m so thrilled and proud of myself to have even been considered amongst the best wedding photographers. In The World. (I’m still digesting the thought of it!)

It was an interesting process and a challenge to choose the images to submit. It gave a great opportunity to sit back and look at my work as a whole and how it has evolved over the years. Most of all, it gave me a confidence to keep doing what I do as well as motivation to keep pushing myself creatively. Often working on your own in your business makes you feel a little isolated, but this nomination has confirmed that I probably am heading to the right direction.
